Eastbound was founded by a team who witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by international schools in China and the teachers who wanted to work there. For over 15 years, we watched schools struggle to find qualified educators — and talented teachers miss out on incredible opportunities — simply because the hiring process was broken.
We saw qualified candidates rejected because they didn't know how to navigate the complex visa process. We saw schools make poor hiring decisions because they couldn't properly assess candidates from afar. We saw brilliant teachers give up on China because the paperwork seemed impossible.
